Ever Been In A Situation When It’s OK To Be A Bit Of A Minger?
September 2nd, 2010 · Comments Off
I have ......... during the first half of the week when we had our heatwave. :o
On Sunday and Monday, I was in and out of the shower all day trying to freshen up.
When it came to Tuesday, I decided to sweat it out. :o I felt like a right dirtbird during the day:o
And yes, I always had a lovely cool shower before bed. :)
So when was the last time you were a bit of a minger? :)

Help….do you know the owners of Bentleys Bar???
September 2nd, 2010 · Comments Off
Hope some one can help.
Have found two puppies (well about a year old). I know the owners, she's call Ann I think from Norway and he was called Mohamed. She was working for Regency Resorts and he was a waiter. Anyway they rented an apartment under a villa in San Eugenio Alto near Montaray Club. Friends have told me that the owners of Bentleys left last week, but the two dos are roaming the streets near by...
Neighbour have said they have seen the dogs there for the last few days. They are a bit thin and very hungry.
If any one can help...

www.gamebreakerztenerife.co.uk
asking what ever happed to The Mattel Aquarius console?
if any member don´t know what it look like here the pic
Attachment 13090
and here what happed to it after google it
and this is what i wrote for my client who ask me.
Due to poor sales, this console was only in production for just over 4 months. From June to october of 1983. I tried to find out how many of these there are out there. From what I can find it seems the numbers range from 8,000 to 20,000 orldwide. So lets say 20k
To put that into perspective, look at some other failed consoles . The 3DO sold 2 million consoles. The virtual boy sold 770K units! And the 32X sold 665K units! LOL comparatively speaking the 3do, virtual boy, and 32x were massive success stories! LOL
Why did it fail?
It seems that the 1st reason would be the technology of the system itself. It was behind the times in terms of computing power (in 1983)
Now, it seemed to the consumer that it was cheaper than the Ti-99, Vic 20, and other home comuters of the time, but in fact, you had to buy all the add ons seperately. If you wanted to play games, you had to buy the Mini-expander perhieral. The data recorder, printer, 4K and 16K RAM memory cartridges, modem, and everything else was sold seperately and when all was said and done, it was an expensive endeavor.
Also, in terms of games, this system was very limited in terms of both support and graphic capability. It was rumored that internally, the Mattel programmers dubbed it "the system for the seventies."
Only 21 games were released for it and of those, most were intellivision ports. That wouldn't be so bad, but all of them played better on the Intellivision which was significantly less expensive.
So here it is. The home computer with the shortest lifespan.
does any other member have any questions to ask me bout video games??

PRINCESS DIANA Image Exploited In Chinese Lingerie Ad
September 2nd, 2010 · Comments Off
PRINCESS DIANA is featured in the latest underwear ad by Chinese lingerie company Jealousy International. A British journalist came across the ads depicting a Princess Diana lookalike wearing a bra and panties with the tagline 'Feel the Romance of British Royalty'. The ad campaign is currently sparking an international debate surrounding the effects of globalization and how various societies depict taste and more specifically venerate the dead. What do you guys think? Are these chinese depictions of Princess Diana in poor taste?

Windows operating systems
September 2nd, 2010 · Comments Off
Thought I might share my observations, I am not an expert, but have a little knowledge.
Windows 95,,,good for its day
Windows 98,,,nice improvement on 95
Windows 2000, not a lot of difference
Windows xp,,,very good
Windows Vista,,,, a nightmare
Windows 7,,,, very very good, especially if you spend a little time playing around with it, and use the new search facility which will find out anything you want to do on the computer. So anyone needing a new computer and worried about a new Operating system, dont worry, you will love it.:)
