RYAN GIGGS heads into today’s vital Premiership clash with Chelsea revealing just how he came to win a Mr Lovely Legs competition!
The Manchester United legend, 34, laughs with embarrassment at the memory of the holiday stunt, which is revealed on his new DVD.
The teenage Giggs was on holiday with mum Lynne in Tenerife when he won the competition – and the DVD shows Giggs taking off his trousers to reveal the winning legs!
Giggs knows today’s game at Stamford Bridge is vital if United are to defend their Premier League title, especially after their defeat by Liverpool last weekend.
He said: “We haven’t started the season as we’d want to, but it’s still early days.
“Having Ronaldo back is a major boost. He’s been the best player in the world over the past 18 months and he’s a big player for us.”
United trail Chelsea by six points with a game in hand having picked up one win from their first three Premier League fixtures.
